Turkish citizenship based on real estate investments

REVERA team helped a client with a child to obtain Turkish citizenship on the basis of real estate investments and fully supported this procedure.

The lawyers fully accompanied the process, starting from the selection and titling of the property to the application for citizenship.

The peculiarity of this case was that the real estate was purchased at the end of the year 2022 in shared ownership between applicants who were not officially married, and already on January 01, 2023 in Turkey came into force the law, which prohibited foreigners-unmarried persons to purchase real estate in shared ownership for the purpose of obtaining citizenship.

A number of procedures were accomplished in a short period of time, allowing applicants to obtain residence permits on the basis of the acquired real estate, as well as to apply for citizenship.
